McLoone Supports Local Band Shell Project

To celebrate 100 years in business, JSJ Corporation and its portfolio companies are donating to the communities in which they are located. As part of this endeavor, McLoone is proud to dedicate $10,000 to the fundraising efforts for the La Crosse Bandshell Project in support of a new acoustical shell covering the historic bandstand in Riverside Park in La Crosse, WI. JSJ Corporation Vice President, Erick Johnson, and past McLoone President, Anita Froegel, were on hand at this month's company-wide meeting to present a check to Valley View Rotary member Terry Bauer.

The acoustic design of the shell will reflect sound to audiences, provide ambient lighting and shelter performers from weather. The band shell will be used and supported by many key local organizations for entertainment and education, including Moon Tunes, La Crosse Concert Band, La Crosse Jazz Orchestra, Rotary Lights and Riverfest. The goal is to have the shell completed by May 2020.

"We chose this opportunity because it is something that all ages and abilities can access and benefit from for generations," said Deidre Kruser, McLoone President. "We are honored to be able to support such a great cause and make an impact on our community."

Donations are being recognized with pavers that will become part of the new circular brick walkway around the band stand.
