Many times when a metal nameplate is embossed there needs to be careful attention to register the raised metal to specific colors and decoration. I came across this example of a nameplate that steps outside the box for this process.
A blind emboss uses the same finish on the embossed graphics as the background, resulting a subtle effect. The same process can be used for graphics that are recessed or debossed.
